Outfit: Purple Florals, Pink & Duck Egg Blue

IMG_8829.JPG

It’s been awhile since I last posted an outfit but I’ve missed this so it’s good to be back. It’s dark after work these days and I spend my weekends in sports clothes so there hasn’t been much of an opportunity. I’m still dressing the same though, despite the break in outfit posting. One of my favourite aspects of winter is the warm jumpers. As much as I love cardigans and wear them most days, there’s something about a pull over jumper style which is much more cosy. This year, I think Review has the best range of jumpers. I’ve purchased a few this season. The floral cut out design is a perfect combination with the pink. It’s actually a very versatile piece with many outfit opportunities. The other items in my outfit are favourites from previous years. I recently rediscovered my duck egg blue coat from Alannah Hill. I love the shade of blue so much, it’s very comfortable and I much prefer it to anything I see in the shops these days. I’ve had it for three years now, posted here. I have always liked how the collar extends to the back. I purchased this dress late last year for summer, posted here, but I’m finding it a good dress for winter too. It’s nice and bright and pairs well with many jumpers. There’s too much black in winter anyway. I recently re-purchased the Sindy flats from B.A.I.T Footwear. This brand of shoes is just incredible, I wear them almost every day. It’s the only brand where I’ve actually re-purchased some of the shoes. The Sindy flats were just restocked in my size so I took the opportunity to add them back to my collection.Β

  1. Imogen, that skirt reminds me of the same fabric of a dress that Jess had when she was little. It’s so pretty feminine. I I really like the pink sweater that you’re wearing with it. You look so lovely in this.

  2. I love pink and blue together so I really like this outfit! πŸ™‚ I like that you chose more colourful layers for winter too – it’s easy to fall into a neutral or monochromatic outfit when you just want to layer everything together!

Hope you are having a lovely start to the week πŸ™‚

  4. I love your taste in colours! That gardenia jumper from Review is very pretty, I love the floral print, the flare and white trim at the hem of the Kitten D’Amour ‘Que Sera Sera’ Collar Dress, and, of course, the duck egg blue colour of the Alannah Hill ‘The Secret of Secrets’ coat.
