Outfit: Enchanted Forest

Hi everyone! Last week I spent some time with my sister by the waterside which was very beautiful and provided amazing photo opportunities. It was such a fun evening and a great way to break up the routine of the average week. I slept over at my sister’s place and was able to get the ferry to work the next day which was just so exciting and a lovely way to start a day. I can’t believe that many people who live in these locations by the water are lucky enough to use the ferry rather than facing the overcrowded buses and trains during peak hour. It makes me want to move house. I decided that the newest addition to my wardrobe would suit the occasion, which is the Enchanted Forest Day Dress from Kitten D’Amour. As you can see, it is the dress I mentioned in my last wishlist post and so many of you told me I should buy it. Despite being on a spending ban, this was one I definitely couldn’t resist. I love everything about it. The silhouette is my favourite and the print is adorable.  I call the print magical trees. I have been wearing this dress non stop at the moment, it truly is the best. My rainbow glitter shoes seemed like the perfect combination to wear with the magical tree dress. The Guess bag is also a recent and sneaky purchase. I have been in love with Guess bags for as long as I can remember. The designs are beautiful and I love the structured look. This one particularly stood out to me as it is a polka dot design and I haven’t seen too many bags in that print before. It’s very practical and a good size which is always a bonus.

I also made a video which shows my first ever outfit of the day and also part of the ferry ride. I’ve had a few requests for OOTD videos so I hope it’s ok. It’s literally just me walking around in front of a pretty harbour side background.

  1. Your Enchanted Forest Day Dress from Kitten D'Amour is beautiful. The pretty pastel pink colour of the dress, its complementary green and brown “magical trees” print, the gingham waistband, gathered neckline and the flare of the dress, all combine for a lovely look. Whilst looking at the dress on the I noticed the D'Amour black and white petticoats. They were shown under the words “You might also like”. I love! They're pretty enough to wear as outerwear.
I love your Tia Cherie – YouTube channel videos
including this recent OOTD: By the Waterside + Ferry Ride – February 2015 – YouTube video – I just added it to the “Liked videos” Playlist on my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/misterpantybuns. The harbour near where your sister lives is beautiful! Since we're more than 2/3 of the way through winter here in the U.S.A. I guess you must be more than 2/3 of the way through Summer there in Australia. It looks delightful. That summer breeze must have felt wonderful by the harbour. I really like the music accompanying your video too.
