Hi everyone. As I mentioned in my last post this is my new Hello Sailor top from Kitten D’Amour. I’ve loved nautical and sailor inspired outfits for an extremely long time; I posted many nautical outfits in the early days of my blog. It has a vintage element and never really goes out of style. I love the lace, polka dots and the frill detailing on the sleeves. My favourite detail is probably the red velvet trim because it is so sweet and super adorable. I can’t wait to style this top with a wide range of pieces. The obvious choice to pair with such a nautical inspired top is a red pencil skirt. I love how the lace detailing on the skirt matches the lace on the top and I like how a pencil skirtΒ has a pin up vibe. I’ve had this skirt for ages and I am surprised I haven’t shown it on my blog before. I love rediscovering pieces that I’ve had for ages. I also own this skirt in green which I should totally wear again soon. I went for polka dots shoes because a double dose of polka dots seemed like a fun idea. There can never be enough, right? I decided to go for a less conventional shade of blue with the bag for a pop of colour. I adore this bag at the moment.

I think it's even better to rediscover items from your closet than buying new pieces!
You're looking absolutely adorable! At first i thought it was a dress, but a top + skirt is even better cause then you can wear it separately as well!

Your Kitten D'Amore Hello Sailor Spot Top and Modcloth Lacy Luck Skirt look like they were made to be paired together. I too love the lacy detail at the top's neckline, the ruffles at the cuffs of its sleeves, and the red velvet trim. The skirt's big dark button-front appearance and dark trim at the hem look very pretty as well.
