Outfit: Florals & More Florals

Hi everyone! This is what I wore yesterday for my sister in law’s birthday party which was a floral theme. The decorations were really spectacular and adorable; I wanted to make sure I fitted in with the theme as much as possible. Since the majority of my wardrobe involves floral print, this wasn’t particularly difficult. I love flower crowns and this was certainly the perfect opportunity to wear one. I wish I had more opportunities to wear floral crowns. They are totally my style since they are girly and make such a statement. As for the dress it belonged to my other sister in law and it’s been my absolute favourite piece in her wardrobe for so many years. But now it’s mine! This makes me very happy. It’s difficult to believe it’s from Supre. I never buy from Supre and the girly, delicate and pretty nature just doesn’t seem consistent with that store. This dress is a real find. The colour scheme is beautiful and the heart cut out is definitely my favourite aspect. Love this dress forever. These photos also provided the opportunity to display my unicorn bag in all it’s glory! Best bag ever…  I’ve had a few questions recently about my college course. Well the good news is that I just passed the first exam! I truly can’t believe it. I never thought I could do anything like this. I put off doing this course for over a year since I graduated university and was also considering never doing it because I didn’t have the self confidence so it’s pretty unbelievable. The course is a lot of work while trying to balance it with a full time job. I often find it frustrating that I just don’t have the time to put in as much effort as I’d like to. But it’s very well run and relevant to real life unlike a lot of university subjects. Even though most of the time college work is the last thing I feel like doing this is often outweighed by the the excitment and elation I feel from being able to do what I never dreamed possible. The same applies to work. Every day I can’t believe I am here and have this opportunity. These feelings are often capable of overpowering the boringness often associated with study or work. In case anyone is wondering I’m doing a graduate diploma in legal practice to become admittted as a solicitor.

  1. This dress is so cute Imogen… just like you 🙂 ♥

Congratulations on passing your first exam, that is wonderful… it really is a great feeling when you pass something that you are not sure you are able to do… you did it, that is great… Good luck with the rest of the course, I am sure you will do great ♥

  2. You look so beautiful, love the style and print of the dress and the floral crown is so pretty on you. May your week be filled with calm & creativity.

  3. I'm so pleased you found an opportunity to show off that bag! It rocks! And you should wear floral crowns more!! Anyway, I hope you, and your sister in law had a lovely day.
I posted your present today, even though I emailed you saying I would do it yesterday… um… yeh, on the day I set to open my online shop my business partner decided it was a good time to tell me she quits. So… yeah, most of yesterday went to stressing out and wondering how the hell I can do this alone. But, never mind, new day etc etc.
I hope you get your namesake before Friday. xox ❤

  4. Oh my gosh, Imogen, this is such a pretty dress. I've never seen anything like it with the heart-shaped design in front. The colors are so spring like. And the rose head piece adds a special touch. You must have looked so lovely at the birthday party.

Happy April to you, my dear.

  5. so lovely! it looks like this theme was made for you haha. I can't believe it either that this beautiful dress is from Supre. and the floral crown looks too good for Diva too! haha I love it when you find great pieces from local Aussie stores, that are actually reasonably priced! and good luck with all your studies. it seems like you are well on your way to becoming a solicitor….hurray! 🙂

and in response to your question- the Prada bag was a joint birthday present from myself and my mum (to me haha). and it's so sweet that your mother in law made you that unicorn cake! what a beautiful job she did on it! hope you're having a lovely week so far! 🙂
