Day Out: Collaroy Beach (Part 1)

On Saturday Rydog and I spent the afternoon at the beach. It is not often that we attend the beach especially in winter so it was a lovely and relaxing afternoon. It reminded me of being away on holidays yet still in Sydney at the same time. This is the first time I have ever taken outfit pictures on the beach so that was a different experience and difficult at times with the sunlight and wind. It was also the perfect opportunity to test out my new camera which I purchased the other day and I am very pleased with the vibrancy of the colours. The weather was much warmer than usual today and it is hard to believe that it was this sunny and beautiful in the middle of winter. I have so many pictures from the beach that I will divide it into two posts.

I am obsessed with my new Modcloth heels. I have worn them almost every day this week. If they weren’t sold out I would probably stock pile them because I will be so sad when they eventually wear out.

Thank for your comments on my last post. I am feeling much better now.

  1. Your white heels are gorgeous! I'm sad to hear they're sold out because after seeing them here I want a pair too! I love the beach pictures, it makes such a nice backdrop.

  2. Glad you are feeling better. Often it helps to talk things over with (relative) strangers. I love seeing Modcloth pieces on you. I think a lot of their designs would look as lovely on you as this dress does

  3. I'm so sorry for not commenting sooner, I've been busy this week. I'm really glad you're feeling better, I know how tough things can get sometimes so I understand completely. I'm sorry that your Doctor and the counselling sessions weren't working as well as they should have been, they don't always get it right do they? I love your outfit by the way, the polka dot dress is gorgeous! And yay for more Modcloth things. xxx
