Childhood Photos

Today I searched through some old photos on my computer, made a facebook album of my childhood and decided to make a blog post with the photos too. I always enjoy looking at photos from the past and it is always one of my favourite things to do. They bring back so many memories and remind me of how many things have changed, yet there are always some things that remain the same. I miss my childhood so incredibly and it was such a happy time for me. I wish I could go back to that time even just for a few days.

On another note, I have a few pictures of the outfit I wore to university on Monday. I would have liked more pictures so I could make a proper outfit post but I am without a camera for a short period of time and the other pictures didn’t turn out well. It is not very often that I wear two printed items together because it can be difficult to get right but this is an exception. I love this combination of the flower printed top and the bow printed skirt. I should also have worn my bow belt with this outfit but I only thought about that at night. Last weekend I sucessfully cut my own fringe because it was too long but I didn’t want to go through the process of having my hair cut which is expensive and time consuming. I had never cut it myself before but I am pleased with the way it turned out.

I am certainly looking forward to the weekend because I am going away for two days to visit some potential wedding venues.

  1. I saw the childhood photos you posted on fb and ADORE them!! You were such a beautiful little girl, which isn't surprising because you are gorgeous now. πŸ™‚

I love the way you mixed prints with this outfit as well. Genius! xoxo

  2. I am definitely a fan of old photos as you've probably seen! So I really love these. You were absolutely adorable as a child, but of course you look lovely now too. You did such a good job with cutting your fringe! I don't cut my own anymore. I used to but then I had my passport photo done and realised how awful it looked! Oops. Luckily my hair salon does mine for free!

  3. I love looking at old photos too, and I know exactly how you feel. My childhood was a lot happier and carefree than now! I wish I could go back too. Lovely post and your hair looks really sweet as well. xxx
